After Completion of Endodontic Treatment:

Your root canal system has been permanently sealed at the root tip(s). However, the chewing surface is sealed with a temporary filling so contamination with normal germs in your saliva will not happen.

Your restorative dentist will follow-up with a permanent, protective restoration. Please phone his/her office for an appointment. A complete report of treatment will be sent to them.

Included in your treatment is a follow-up appointment to evaluate healing progress. With certain cases, there may be more visits. These appointments will require only a few minutes and no additional fee will be charged.
